The Acute Systematic Clinical Emergency Response and Treatment (ASCERT) programme is an intensive two day course designed for doctors who deal with unwell patients. Attendees are trainees in Foundation Year 2. A limited number of observer places are available for trainees who do not meet these criteria.

If you would like to improve your skills in the treatment of acutely ill patients, ASCERT will enable you to improve your competence and confidence in initial assessment and management: you will join thousands of previous participants who have successfully completed this training.

FY2 doctors in the south west can book at Peninsula Foundation NHSE - South West courses site.

If you have questions regarding the programme or observer spaces, get in touch.
